Fire crews worked through the night to tackle a fire affecting agricultural workshops in Great Totham.
Essex County Fire and Rescue Service said they were called at 11:10pm on Sunday (12 April) to a site measuring around 60 metres by 20 metres.
The workshops contained cylinders and vehicles.
At the height of the incident, six fire crews and an aerial ladder platform were in attendance.
Station Manager Scott Fretton said crews worked to surround the fire and stop it from spreading.
They remained on scene overnight, with relief crews taking over at around 3am.
The incident has since been scaled back to two crews, who continue damping down and checking for hotspots.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
