St. Luke’s Church Hall Events coming up:
The Friends of St Luke’s Events committee are looking for some new members to join their
team.
We meet on a Monday afternoon approximately every 6 weeks, currently in the hall and
other than that, we would like you to help organise some of our events. You do not need to
be present at every event but helping out at some would be required. We hold a variety of
events throughout the year, from our monthly board games afternoons, to evening quizzes,
dances and other such events.
Some of our events are in conjunction with the church but others are stand-alone. Our aim
to raise money to keep St Luke’s hall in tip top condition. Our current project is to raise
money to get the church driveway re-tarmaced.
Although preferred, you do not need to be a regular member of the congregation to join the
committee. We currently have a mixed group of congregation members and villagers alike.
