Residents in Tiptree have a wide range of community activities and events to take part in, with regular groups, youth clubs and seasonal events happening throughout the village.
From fitness sessions to community theatre and festive markets, there is something for all ages.
Activities
Several weekly activities are taking place across the village.
At Tiptree Library, Crafternoons take place every Tuesday between 2pm and 3pm, offering a relaxed creative session for residents.
Fitness sessions are also available, including Super Mama Fitness classes and Aqua Aerobics, which run on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Community groups continue to meet regularly, including St Luke’s Ladies Group, which gathers at St Luke’s Church.
Youth Activities
Young residents also have several opportunities to get involved in community activities.
A baby and toddler group meets every Tuesday morning at Tiptree Library, while Lego Club, focused on coding with Lego for children, runs every Thursday afternoon.
The Youth Outreach Project meets at the Tiptree Community Centre every Wednesday at 4:30pm.
Meanwhile, the KYDS Youth Drama Society will be performing Sleeping Beauty later in the month.
Community Events
A number of larger community events are also planned, including:
- Tiptree Early Christmas Fayre at the Community Centre
- Tiptree Christmas Street Festival on Church Road
- Tiptree Jam Factory Christmas Fair
These seasonal events attract residents and visitors alike and help support local charities and community organisations.
Advice and Support
Several support services are also available in the village.
The Tiptree Community Hub hosts Warm Space sessions during the week, offering a place for residents to meet and keep warm.
The Tiptree Foodbank operates every Thursday afternoon at the Tiptree United Reformed Church.
Residents can also access help from Citizens Advice during sessions at the Community Hub.
