Plans Being Explored for Festive Street Lights in Tiptree

Plans to introduce festive street lights in Tiptree are being explored by Tiptree Parish Council.

The proposal was discussed during a recent full council meeting, where councillors agreed to continue investigating the project.

The council said it will seek additional quotes for the festive lighting and explore potential funding options, including possible sponsorship.

No final decision has yet been made, but councillors agreed that further work should be carried out to assess the feasibility of installing festive lights in the village.

The idea forms part of ongoing discussions about community improvements in Tiptree.
