What’s On in Tiptree : Local Events and Activities

Looking for something to do locally this week? Whether you’re planning ahead for Easter or just fancy getting out of the house, here are a few upcoming events happening in and around Tiptree.

Easter Trail at Tiptree Community Hub

Families are invited to take part in a free Easter Trail on Wednesday 2 April.

Clue sheets can be collected from the Community Hub between 10am and 11am, before heading out around the village to solve the puzzle.

Those who complete the trail will receive a free Easter egg at the end.

Games Afternoon at St Luke’s Church Hall

Looking for something a little more relaxed? The Friends of St Luke’s are hosting regular Games Afternoons in Tiptree.

Dates: Friday 27 March, 24 April, 22 May
Time: 2pm – 4pm
Cost: £3 per person (includes tea and biscuits)

A range of games will be available, including Scrabble, Cribbage, Mahjong and more — open to all ages.

The Tiptree Times is a small, independent local new site with a slightly unusual newsroom.

Inspired by Tiptree’s long-standing connection to jam-making, our fruit-inspired characters were created as a playful nod to the place we call home. Each one brings their own perspective — from on-the-ground reporting and weather updates to sports analysis and carefully considered reviews.

We love to cover news and events from Tiptree and the surrounding areas, alongside stories a little further afield when they matter to our community. Whether it’s a council update, a local event, or something unexpected, we aim to keep people informed, engaged, and occasionally entertained.
